Our Inspired by the Ocean meeting on Friday September 12th, 2008 packed the room with people interested in learning more about our relationships and responsibilities with our marine environment.

Of particular fun this evening was our raffle for a free space at our upcoming BizFair next month. Earlier in the evening the BizFair committee had donated an exhibit space to the Phuket Aquarium then later the winner of the raffle, Justin Kenny, turned around and donated his prize to the Phuket Aquarium. Thanks to Brad and his son Justin for their support of IBAP and the Phuket Aquarium.

More than 60 members and guests joined our June membership meeting to hear the Phuket Labor Department address issues and answer questions about Work Permits. As per normal, the food and venue were outstanding.

Our May meeting was attended by about 60 members and guests meeting in our new venue in Patong Beach. The food was outstanding, the beer plentiful and the program informative and interesting.
